Hello, My name is Clara Najjingo and I am the Founder of NAJJINGO. I grew up in Uganda and then moved to the US at 14 years old, during the early stages of my life, I lived in a small fashion boutique with my mom. My life has been full of a lot of change, traumas, rejection, and struggling to belong everywhere I go. I have always loved fashion but it was during one of the lowest points in my life when Fashion saved me and gave me a reason to live with a purpose. It was during that time when the world around me was loud and confusing and no one could understand me that I got my calling from God. Fashion allows me to create a space that I can do and be anything I want with truth. With my brand, I want to create a space that is open for everyone no matter how they look, speak, or what their beliefs are.

I am very passionate about what I do and believe that I can use my wild creativity, story, and uniqueness to make the world a better place. There is power in every emotion you feel and never underestimate how much emotion impacts our daily life.
